something strange today

I was playing on a server, it was muttrah city. Had one player on mec side. He was in a apc and pulled up to docks where we were(two on us side) He stopped apc and imediately started shooting. Got back in drivers seat backed up apc about 20 feet and gor back in gunners seat and started shooting. Where was the lag when single manning.Did he use a cheat. When we asked how he did that he didnot answer.
Anyone have any thing to say about this.

Was the turret moving about? You can shoot the gun before the turret warms up, just can't aim it around. Might be a aim bot that is forcing the thing in one direction to aim at people, since it is not actually locked, the turret just bounces back to forward really quickly.

Think I had a simalier experience on Kashan one day,

Found a Avenger sitting out in the open (from my gunner's seat of teh Havok) he saw us but he was moving. I had to switch from Laser target to laser guided hellfires, and when I looked at him again he had tone on us and was firing. Luckily only one missile made it (flared out) before the hellfire totaled him. Checked the player list and only one person was shown dead.

Now, I know you can shoot out like Corpse mentioned, but when I first looked at him, he was aligned like he had just driven it out of main. And now he had turned the turret 90 degrees. I may be fazing this a little because I've turned so many peices of armor to carnage lately (

) but it sure seemed like it was a quick switch to the gunner seat and lock, no 30 sec warm-up.

There is only a 10-15 second wait for an avenger.

Draco thought I was hacking....he didn't know it was me at the time...when I told him, he got mad because I was single seating.

Well I mean, it doesn't take me 10-15 seconds to send hellfires on a target, it was fast.

Amato, did you get his name by any chance?

I know that when your turret is locked, you can still force the gun away and on my screen it looks like my rounds are (wildly)hitting targets outside of the lock, but it might just be another "point-of-view" bug and they're all actually just hitting dead center.

He went by Fontone and I was on the GIB server. I have played with him. The turret was moving and he took me out I was on his left side.Even my sq leader was wondering what had just happened to us. Needles to say I took the cobra up and took him out
