I have fond memories from that brief span of time when Battlefield 2142 installed correctly, with no errors, and had no Punkbuster errors while in-game... ever.

Tried installing it on a brand-new computer for the first time ever, set everything up (including special launch tags to make it use 1680x1050 instead of whatever silly 4:3 resolution it wanted me to use)... and got a PB error right off the bat.

As fun as the game is, no game is worth the level of bullshit EA and/or DICE makes me go through to get it to actually fucking work.

Still, it was a lot of fun when it was playable
