    Wake Island Disease

    Why I ask is wake island the non-teamplayer map... I realize it's a bit more difficult at times but is that any reason for on average 1/3 to 1/2 of a team to be unsquadded or there being only 2 squads with 5 or more players? and the rest that are in 1 or 2 man squads? it's not just now but EVERY time I've experienced it in BF2 on this map it shouldn't be like this on our server guys... step up for crying out loud

    Most likely a squad bug. It is EXTREMELY rare to have multiple people unsquadded here. If they are...it doesn't last for too long. Also,if you were looking near the begining of Wake,sometimes people will wait to see if one of the jets is going to bail on a flag,and then join the pilot's squad.

    Dex is right, extremely unusual for TTP. In fact, Wake is one of those maps that requires the most teamplay for succes, and I think everyone has fun playing it that way.

    I for one usually go with the sniper kit to lay claymores near the flag for a jet bailer. But I will join a squad right after that.

    Most likely squad bug. Earlier in the week there were a couple of maps in a row that had that - it was most annoying one time it happened on Gulf of Oman. Wake Island requires at least 1 squad to defend the airfield and 2+ squads to assault/defend the other flags.

    Hey admin - our team has X amount of unsquadded people - please make room for those waiting to get in.

    I am certain the admins will be more than happy to clean house.

    If you notice there are other maps besides Tampa that show radical player changes. Wake is one of them. You get 10-25 players that may leave when wake starts. This will mean new players dont squad up quickly, some not at all. So at the beginning of the round there are not alot in squads.

    Wake is a map I personally like to command if no one else steps up. I notice this as soon as I get a look of what I have to work with.

    10 mins into the round this start to look normal again....sometimes after some admin help.
