Thread: 2142 Joystick

i hate using joysticks. period. i used to use a logitech one when i played MW4... but when i switched to mouse/keyboard, i did so much better. and flying the aircraft in 2142 is pretty easy with m/k . they're like some wierd hybrid of the helo's and jets from bf2. gunships suck though. pilot guns = shitty, tv missiles are fucking tough to use, and the minigun is still worthless against armor. if i want anti-infantry, i'll stick with my mech... or my LMG or, depending on the map, shotty. damn, i love that shotgun.

a 360 controller is an interesting idea. my aim would probably suck complete ass, though (i can't aim for shit in console fps').

Looks like Microsoft's creating their own console karaoke that'll rival Sony's Singstar. Variety reports, the big M is planning to unveil a "music/singing" game next week at E3 according to "somebody involved in promoting [the game]."

The game is expected to be Lips, as reported by Kotaku, which is developed by Elite-Beat Agents maker iNiS. It's another wireless mic-compatible singing game with about 30 pre-loaded songs, but apparently, the game will also let users upload their own tunes from a Zune, iPod or CD. So don't be upset if you feel that the game's lacking any Meatloaf material.

Again, nothing's certain to what Microsoft has set for us. Who knows, maybe former Microsoft Executive Peter Moore will do an encore for old time's sake. Stay tuned next week at our E3 2008 coverage.
