Here's a screenshot of my volume control... I still have the problem of being very quite in game.

Can master volume affect my mic volume? Because I have master volume down, but my actual headphones loud.

I'm not sure how to make it louder... it's maxed in game.

Is there a sounds configuration in XP? Go to control panel and click something like sound hardware, and then you can configure your mic boost from there. That's what I do with Vista.
