Is Teamspeak worthwhile?

Many servers offer Teamspeak, and encourage the use of it, but is it all that much better for BF2?

We all know that if you have a mic, and hold the "B" key you can use VOIP and talk to squad mates. What if you are in a mixed squad with members who are in different clans or have no clans at all or do not even have teamspeak?

In my opinion, having to go back and forth saying the same thing twice is repeditive and counter productive.

Do everyone a favor use the VOIP that the game makers enabled its very useful and guys in squads dont feel left out.

Do you have a seperate opinion and think I dont know anything? Please counter my points I enjoy learning about other view points

Well I have a question... about teamspeak in general and with a different game, sorry for bumpin in your bf2 fun! ANYway I heard of clans using teamspeak so they can chit chat during scrims ect ect on CSS and this even works while your dead. Thats ghosting right?

About your opinions with BF2, yea I have the game along with 2142 and I wouldnt see any advantage in saying the same thing twice or even only to the other people logged on teamspeak. The whole squad needs to know whats going down.

TeamSpeak was offered as a temporary solution til the VOIP issue with BF2 was resolved. That being said it has advantages that are being discussed. I don't encourage using it in place of BF2 VOIP. I also left it set up so that some people who are having an issue with Vista and BF2 VOIP {i.e. IceColdFire04} can at least be able to com with their Squad mates. It's simply a tool that if used correctly can be beneficial.
