Well since im from canada, i have to buy it from Newegg.Ca, and its $21.00 and shipping is $13.00.
While in the USA you can get the same shipping,(same number of days), for free

I have a copy that I can't play. Always asks me for the DVD when the DVD is in there. I always hated EA games for this and haven't played a game from them in quite some time. If I can find the CD key I can send it your way.

My guess is you have a newer DVD drive. An updated bf2142.exe was issued by SecuROM to address incompatibilities with newer drives. See item #15 in the Common Issues thread:
