Thread: PR NIGHT....August 28th 2009

Meh, I joined when Muttrah City was winding down and didn't do anything there. Kashan was alright, despite a great deal of bickering over assets and insults flying around (I was particularly annoyed by a rather incompetent pilot who absolutely refused to do anything as I asked, getting my squad and I killed several times, and then insulted ME for incompetence). I had a very good squad that actually listened to me and did a good job of defending bunkers (one time we were overwhelmed when a full MEC squad managed to kill one of my key defenders and came through the bathroom). Other than the (helicopter) pilots being somewhat incompetent, the US team of that game was all-around excellent.

Al Basrah sucked. We (INS) made good progress in the beginning and I was having some fun (the Brits managed to overrun a cache position but took 30 minutes to find the correct building) until at least two Brit squads and both APCs started camping the mosque and killing anything that came out. Coupling with amazingly retarded cache spawns (three caches in a row spawned near the village where the entire Brit team was attacking, and then three more spawned in a row on the island, where at least a squad of Brits were concentrating, and then two more spawned next to two Brit Squads and both APCs in the center of the city) that prevented us from spawning at them, I grew weary of dying every thirty seconds and left.

What maps were played until the server wound down?
