Recon can be alright as a sniper because it's not going to get a bunch of kills, but it can stop advances because people don't want to go into sniper range.

Which is why I removed it.

And recon sniping like that only works when you're good enough that they don't want to come out, (not me) but someone like *runs through his "Kill in most possibly annoying manner" list* Brink or Al can do it pretty well. Which draws away from 15 pistol kills being hard....

Oh, that's dolphin diving and then one shotting with a Voss, hands-down.

I veto the playing on a muppet server just to get a badge. I play here and FLOT and very occasionally DIG. Used to play on a Christian server but you guys trained me too well and I started to steamroller them and so I stopped going there. No fun if it's too easy. I want to earn my badges Besides, they aren't good for anything but show now...no more ranks to go up so all those points are just eye candy.

I think I've played on the Christian server before, the people there seemed fairly good. Maybe I'm just bad at the game.

DIG is alright, but what is FLOT? Don't think I've played on that before.

DIG is ok, I can't rememeber ever playing on the Christian Servers (but wouldn't mind the name/IP of one since i've got two kiddos that like to play) and FLOT is ok too. They have/had(?) a NS only server that's full a lot.

Yeah FLOT is where I get my NS fix. The Christian server was something like P1441 or similar. There was a P and the one and four in the name anyway. Yeah I'm useless. Sorry, I don't have the game up atm, and it's been a long time. If you filter on VOIP, Friendly Fire, PunkBuster they show up, or at least they used to. Perhaps they are gone now. If I see them in the list, I'll IM you.

They do have some really talented players, but I was starting to be on when there were just a bunch of noobs and none of the regs. And while it is fun to get big score, I figure if I play with noobs, I'll start to act like noobs, so I as soon as I realize that I'm dominating I get out. Sometimes I wish I had stayed to get more points / badges as I'm in a competition with a co-worker with respect to the badges and stuff, but I try not to let it affect me much. Usually only when we play Camp G here and he's a medic racking up points and I'm a lowly engie trying to guard the back gate at toll do I start to get antsy...I know I'm going to hear about how he "owned" me in points the next day. Perhaps I should be a n00b and run out and try to gun people down with my SMG for points, but that would be a waste of tickets for no reason other than my ego.
