1.5 update ? problems

I reinstalled BF2 and now all the servers but 2 are red, including TTP.
I reDL the 1.5 patch but when I went to install it said I already had a higher version.
PR doesn't work either.
Anyone have any idea what the h3ll I did to create this problem ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated since I recently moved and this is the first night in a week I have been able to get online, only to find only 2 servers AAAAHHHH H!

First.....how did you install BF2?

Was it the CD version? DVD (Delux Edition)? EADM ?

The CD version is v1.0. DVD and I think EADM are both equipped with the 1.41 Patch. You need 1.41 to install the 1.5 Patch,as it is an incremental patch.

BF2....1.41.....then 1.5.

I realized that while I was downloading the 1.5 patch for the third time and while I was watching the 2 day download time for the PR stuff.
It works perfect now, except that my connection is now a dual turbo squirrell-powered DSL link.
FIber Optic by November !

I've also had some problems with the v1.5 patch. Just got the game this morning, loaded it all up, BEFORE I began patching I made sure everything worked by getting on a server for a bit. Then I patched to v1.41, and again made sure everything worked by getting on a server and playing for a bit. Everything worked fine, absolutely no problems. FINALLY, I patched to v1.5, and now I have an "invalid cd key"
