How to Tell?

I applied the new patch. I can't tell if the add-ons were installed or not... how can I tell? I assume they are installed since I'm playing on maps that I've never seen before. Oh yeah, and HOORAY for widescreen support.

If you are patched and playing new maps, then it is safe to say you have the booster packs installed.

It's unfortunate that Special Forces wasn't a booster pack... I really want to try that game out.

So the booster packs just contained maps? I've also noticed the co-op mode but I haven't done any research on it. I assume it's a team of players vs a team of AI. Does that mean that Special Forces gives me access to new things? Are people with Special Forces playing on the server with unlocks that I can't get? I'll do a bit of light Google searching while I'm at work but I can't do the research until I get home.

The latest update seems to have fixed all of my crashing issues. I haven't encountered any problems a quick Google search won't resolve yet. Also, the loading times have improved drastically. Widescreen support was nice to finally get. The maps seem a lot more tactical but I do have to wonder: Where the hell are the city maps?! Maybe I was just in a city-less part of the map rotation but either way I love me some down and dirty squad based infantry combat. Back to the grind!

special forces gives you 2 unlocks instead of 1 every time you level up. There is also I think the flashbang, grappling hook and a couple other goodies.
