That's pretty much the answer. Even with a body hit, it takes 2 rounds to kill with the m95 (wholly unrealistic). Head shot is a 1 hit kill with both the m95 and L96a1. As a result, people prefer the L96 because it has better cross hairs and you don't sacrifice have to sacrifice a 1 hit KO. How often are you REALLY sniping people out of cockpits?

Murfy's law: when ever roll with the L96, i always get that chopper spotting me, giving me the perfect opportunity had i haven the m95.

They both have the exact same damage. The "50" can pierce the cockpits......but that is REALLY tough to do,unless you are baseraping,and shooting at a stationary plane/chopper. The L96 has much better crosshairs,does the same damage,and has one more VERY IMPORTANT advantage. Its noise. It is MUCH quieter than the m95. With the m95,every player on the map knows where you are....with the L96,they will wonder what just hit them.

And yes....the bullets do drop....but not much. On long distance maps like Wake,I aim just a bit high. I have dropped people from 400+ meters,but it will usually take me two shots. I aim just above their heads.

Also, the M95 has the same accuracy as the semi-auto rifles (that is, half as accurate as the other bolt-action rifles). The M95 is like a perfect storm of silly, the accuracy of the semi-autos, the clip size and slow reload of the bolt-actions, no additional damage over the bolt-actions, and big honkin' crosshairs for the singular and extremely limited ability to hit some people some of the time in a vehicle.

It's not as bad as say, the MG36, but it's just not a very good weapon overall.
