1.5 and Punkbuster

Ok I am trying 2 get on any sever. Mainly TTP, but when I double click it. A message pops up saying this sever use a newer version. SO I download Patch 1.5. I pop the CD in and then tried it again. Same message popped up. So I tried another sever. It loaded up to the map then Punkbuster kicked me out for Inadequate O/S or something like that. I tried updating Punkbuster with this web site http://www.evenbalance.com./ but sadly when I click 2 download it shows lots and lots of numbers and letters. :8 :8 :8

Ben do you have the 1.41 patch installed ?? if not download the 1.41 and install THEN reinstall the 1.50 patch. Then manually update punkbuster and that should do it !

At first I did. Then it still did not work. So just to make sure I deleted BF2 and Installed it again. Also downloaded 1.41 then 1.5 Now I am working on the Punkbuster. Now I am downloading 1.5 AGAIN. We will see if it works in about an hour.

Ok so here's a few questions:
Did you Install BF2 then 1.41 then 1.5 ?
Did you Update Punkbuster using pbscv(or whatever)?
What is your Operating System?

If you answered no to #1,
Uninstall BF2 (if you went out of order)
Install BF2
Install Patch 1.41
Install Patch 1.5

If you answered no to #2,
Download PB Setup (If you don't have pbscv/pbsetup)
Use pbsetup and "Add Game" > Battlefield 2
"Update" or "Check for Updates"
Press ok

As for the O/S, that's for other people, because Idk if that would be a problem.
