unmodified content
Hi, I have some problems with my Battlefield 2.
Every time the server (well, not EVERY time on TTP , but on all other server 100% of the time) loads a new map I get kicked for "unmodified content". I just got the game so I don't think I have any unmodified content. But I was told that my fast loading time was the reason, that I load the map faster then the server.
I don't know what too do, and I still wonder if this is the reason, because it can't be that hard too just keep the players in the loading menu while the server is loading, and let them inn when the server is ready?
I have talked too the PunkBuster guy's, they sent me too EA, and you can guess how much they know about things...
Try'd re-installing several times, punkbuster update, run as admin(well, i got too do that anyway too get on the online servers)
On your server I don't get kicked EVERY time, I do find myself back at the old map for a little while after the load, but when the countdown starts I'm at the right map.

Your content is fine. This error is known and has been happening for everyone since the game came out.
I think the problem might be your computer. It's too fast.
I have the same issue and although I never thought it was possible, I think my computer loads the map before the server does and as a result, I get the issue. When I click in to join the game, I get booted to the server browser.
I've been testing it by unchecking the "auto-ready" box and joining the game after a period of time like a swigg of water or something.....allowing the server to load the map.
So far I've had less boots back to the server browser and less unmodified content errors.
Maybe Draco can tell us why this is happening, he's got a knack for how games work on PCs.
