Where are the Admins? Where are the Admins?

    Re: Where are the Admins?

What I love is when the tide turns and it is now my turn to rape and especially if I am commander, i will say to all my squads...."NO MERCY!"

And I fucking mean NO MERCY. I want revenge, I want to "Remember the ALamo, Remember Goliad!"

I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!

    Re: Where are the Admins?

    That didn't take long.

The admins will never step in to save a team from being raped unrepentantly. It is the job of every member of that team to get into squads, organize a strategy, and execute it. The admins will not designate safe zones or anything else. Spawning in is consent to be engaged at any location, at any time, by any force.

Teams should never be raped in the first place. If your strategy is so poor, your team's ability to work together so lacking, then rape is your punishment for such failure. But do not take such punishment lying down, spawning in endlessly like a lemming into an unwinnable situation. Get your SL snuck out of the base to a safe location, spawn on him, and start distracting the enemy. There are myriad ways to prevent or ameliorate a rape through the use of sound strategy, moreso that merely complaining that you're being raped.

Take positions of leadership, and get your team into shape. The admins will be more than happy to remove all non-compliants, the unsquadded, the uncooperative, those that cannot follow their orders, those that do not communicate. These are the people that drag a team down and cause baserape, and it takes surprisingly few to do it. Help the admins help you, and call out those nonteamplayers.

Locked again, as the children have come out yet again.

    Draco

Blue, you remind me of me

Always give back what you've been receiving.

Double? How does that help anything? What have you offered in the way of addressing your own concerns, where have you shared that info previously on this here forum. If we are priming on Gulf and the enemy would rather get in the air, then you can bet your ass I'm going to be out there capping every flag and holding every flag. I see base ravaging on that map, but it's the fault of those that treasure their precious Air Toys, instead of making sure that they are holding onto flags to keep the ticket bleed out from effectively killing them easier and quicker than my team mates.

Why is it that when one team decides that air assets are more important than making sure they hold onto flags the problem of the admins? Now if you took command and asked your squad leaders to focus on flags and they didn't, then we have a problem that can be addressed and corrected.

I've seen, an been a part of a round {back in the old days of late '06 or early '07}, where we didn't have a commander. When I took the command seat, we only had 1 flag as MEC on Gulf of Oman. I encouraged the guys in squads to take a flag and defend it, then take another and defend it, until we drove them off of land and stuffed them onto the Carrier.

We won the round by over 300+ {I think it was 308} tickets. The only way we could do that was if they decided to stand on the carrier and worry about being in the air. It was so terrible an effort on their part, that I finally called in jet attacks and placed Artillery repeatedly on the carrier since they didn't know how to get off the carrier and make a fight of it.

I can still remember that day like it was yesterday. ***COMMANDER*** was on the opposing team playing back then as NHBird. I can remember the frustration I unleashed on him that day for all those times he artilleryed me on maps when I first started playing BF2. I would be lying if I said I gave them a chance to get on land once we pushed them back to the carrier. They had a chance when the round started and they had 4 flags to work from on land. I can remember giving bombing orders to NME Bohpat, I told him to let them have it, if they couldn't find a way to defend 4 flags on land that they had at the beginning of the round, then that was their fault. I remember being zoomed in watching the artillery hitting the carrier, bombing runs destroying shit, hell we even had some pioneering individuals drive APC's out in the water to shoot at the deck of the carrier. It was a slaughter. Do I regret that round, hell no, it's not my fault they couldn't decide how to play and hold flags on a map.

It was so bad, that ***COMMANDER*** later told me that guys were cussing me left and right, swearing about how much they hated me for artillerying them so much. It was so bad, he was yelling at guys to just get in something and get off the carrier. So bad, that they started to team kill each other for assets to get off the carrier. I find no remorse in giving the enemy what they deserve. They would have done it to me.

Just like the first day I played BF2 online. I spawned in at City Entrance as USMC on Sharqi, because it was the only place to spawn because our team was so terrible they let the enemy take every flag. I never fired a round from my weapon, I was mowed down 19 times in a row by circulating Attack Helo's that didn't care how many times they killed me. The only gripe I had, was they weren't pushing the flag to take it and end the round. That was my very first round online playing BF2. I'm still here, I never once griped about how many times I died, I griped because my team was so pathetic they put me in that position.

I persevered, I kept playing, I learned to give what the enemy had been giving to me. I give no quarter, I cut no slack; because the enemy wont give me any. And if they do cut me slack, you can bet I'll do my best to turn our team around and destroy them to a man. I don't call that stat padding, kill padding or anything else. I call that playing for the WIN. And if that means I have to stand on your nuts to get the WIN, then I will do it.

One thing I did notice DrRaptor; you seem to be steamed about how much you died. Well, after what I've been through, you wont find sympathy from me, but I'll gladly stand there and die next to you to prove that my KD:R don't mean shit to me. I have taught a lot of guys here how to change tactics and how to get out of situations. Some of them have already posted. We went through a lot of getting our asses handed too us on this server. It happens and if an admin were to stop it that would be micro-managing the server and the outcome of the game. At TTP, we don't believe in micro-managing the server, it's anti-teamwork.

Ohhh Manno you have been quoted

We have all been stuck in that position at one time or another, I guess other servers have the no attacking uncap rule for a reason....
