    Question.

Ok, I got a question For an Admin (Any will do as long as they are A BF2142 admin. Or the Like)

I was Playing On Shuhia Taiba LAst night on Conquest mode. I had a squad going, and We were Going for East mountain Past.

Player Bovich Had Been Trying to get the map changed to Gibraltar, and had put up several Unsuccesful Votes.

Then, In squad Chat, i see him Type "!setnextmap Gibraltar" Or something Like that. Then, There was a message from the server saying that the Next map had been changed to Gibraltar.

Is he allowed to do that?

    Re: Question.

As i've learned in life, the answer to just about everything is.... "it depends"

If it's always being done just to scratch whatever itch he has for the next map, then obviously no.

If he's taking his judgement and trying to balance connections and looking at what's next, then maybe. A big map like Verdun late at night with only 20 players will likely not survive the round, so move it to a smaller/faster map.

If it has just crashed 3x on one map, then by all means.

Just a lot of... it depends.

I think what he is asking laggy is "does the average player have the power to set the next map this way" He is assuming the person typing the command isn't an admin.

    Re: Question.

Simply put, if one is not an admin, one cannot use admin commands. The "part two" is that some admins have alts from which they can do some undercover monitoring.

    Re: Question.

I know if it's just starting, or just finishing, smaller Conquest maps seem easier to get primed, and seem to stay primed longer.
