Getting a new rank?

Is BF2 busted? I can't get a higher rank and can't unlock anything new, I am a pfc and my xp bar is maxed out what gives?

Try playing a round, you might be able to rank up now. If not, just wait until tomorrow, it should work then.

You have to wait until EA's global stats update. Check in the BFHQ under the Leaderboards button. If your points there (bottommost box) are equal to your individual stats, then just earn a point in a round and it will rank up. If not, wait up to 30 hours for EA to finish updating the stats. :P

I see you have 892 points. Have you got at least one point after logging out over 800 points? If you started with 799 or fewer points and quit at above 800, you still need to log in to a ranked server and get at least one point after you passed the points needed to rank up. Does that make sense?

I do remember playing 2142 and not leveling up untill the next map even if I earned it the previous map. But I have never had to wait more than a few hours.

Or receiving map specific awards days after you last played that map.... oh Northern Strike...

In 2142 I received both the Legion Of Merit Ribbon & Valorous Unit Service Ribbon about 20 times each, and got the respective points for them. God I love EA.

Be cool if you can transfer that bling bling into other games, so caps for Fallout 3!!!
