Thread: Question for all you guys.

I just recently re-installed BF2. Now, I got the collectors edition, and I was wondering what the order for patching from the Collectors edition to 1.5 was, since I tried it, and it failed miserably the first time...

Install BF2
Install BF2 1.41 Patch
Install BF2 1.5 Patch


Then update your punkbuster and you should be set!

Assuming the patches run.

I seem to have problems with this desktop in getting patches for EA games to run... :5

Or have the patch run and nothing happen at all. That is annoying. ><

The DVD has 1.41 on it....just let it do its thing. It takes a while since it installs the game,patches to 1.2 and installs SF,then installs the 1.41,then EF and AF,then it patches itself again to 1.41. When it is all done,all you need to do is install the 1.5.

I got it to work this time! Dunno what happened this time around, but it worked. Finally.

The biggest problem I seemed to have was getting the game to realized I patched. It kept saying 1.2.### whenever it started, but it finally got to 1.5.### Ha ha!
