    Manual says nothing about Radar or I missed it what button is ?

    Do you mean when you first get in a jet and it says Radar off ?

    Yes I think it only comes on for AIM-9 and Aim-7 missiles. Am I right?

    Yea once you select the weapons slot(number) of your choice it's on.

    Yea I think Radar Off is there just to look snazzy, doesn't actually mean anything. Once you have the missile selected, fire away.

    Combined Arms has radar... But i don't think that's what you were wondering.
    Radar off is there just to make it look fancy.
