Using a Quad Core cpu, 4GB RAM, Win7 64-bit, GeForce GTX 260... and I can't see the ground, it looks like the sky... Only bushes and tall grass is visible scattered about.

Windows 7 can be the issue. Did you have this when playing BF2 with win7? If not, it maybe shaders, drivers or windows 7 struggling to create video output the way you want it since BF2 is not win7 compatable. I maybe wrong, but those are the usually problems that I've had with Vista and solved easily and had the same issue.

Anti Aliasing was the problem. Turned it off and everything looks all nice and realistic.
