Joystick

My joystick stop working in bf2. But still works in other games. I have no pitch and roll everything else works. joystick is a microsoft sidewinder.

Sometimes your control settings get wiped out check that

Sometimes, with me, when you start BF2 and forget to plug in your joystick it doesnt register it in the game. But if you have it pluged in before you start it, it's registerd as a joystick.

Thank for the reply. I have gone in and reset the sets in controls and reset them. Its showes joy0 for axies.

That implies that it is set to some axis on the joystick (left/right, back/forward, throttle up/down, etc). If you have the bug that disables your Air controls, even if they look like they are set, you have to reset all of them to what you want.

The 1.5 patch clobbered most people's joystick settings when they added support for the Novint Falcon. I think if you disable the Falcon support, it fixes it. I've not tried using my joystick since the 1.5 patch, but I remember reading about this on the EA forums.
