    You will be able to unlock everything, eventually, but some people are willing pay more for it (the unlocks) to get it early?

    It was my understanding that you can pay more for some unlocks even though you get them eventually. Or am I stupid?

    Though the unlocks are cool, my reason for pre-ordering was to get a beta key. I had tried a few times and had some issues so i just decided to preorder on steam and not have to deal with the hastle

    Where? the unlocks are not payed for, you get them for pre-ordering, for the same exact price you would pay after release, $50.
