PR installation problems

Also forgot to mention that this occurs with the BF2 1.5 patch as well.

UPDATE: Wow, this "problem" might have been due to my own goddamn impatience. Took ten minutes, but the damn thing is finally running now.

UPDATE2: Okay, I've installed PR and Mumble. Haven't run it yet but it's looking good.

Jesus H. fucking Christ. For every fucking problem that's solved, a new fucking problem appears. BF2 apprently refuses to work on Win7. Every time I attempt to run it or PR it starts, the screen goes black like it's starting, then it CTDs and nothing happens. I've attempt to run in WinXP SP3 compatibility and as an admin and as both, but nothing has worked yet.

Sounds like a driver issue now. Are you sure you have the correct updated drivers for your video card or audio card?

I'll run it and see.

UPDATE: Silly me, reinstaled those. They're outdated and incompatible, so I have to upgrade AGAIN. *sigh*

UPDATE 2: Downloaded new drivers, everything's running fine. FINALLY, this nightmare is (almost) over.
