Technical Issues...

I keep getting kicked for "communication failure - heartbeats stopped". I have updated Punk Buster 5 times but it still happens every time I join the server. What should I do?. Re-installing could take all day with patches and all.

Run task manager while in game to see if it is even starting up, Then Run a search to find PnkbsterA.exe and pnkbstrB.exe. Find Em, then Create a shortcut for them and place them on your desktop,
Before you join Click'em and see what happens?

I learned a long time ago to burn all bf2 patches to a disk cause with EA games shit happens.

Uninstall "PunkBuster Services" from your control panel then redownload it and update from http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsvcfaq.php; that's how I solved my "heartbeats" problem. Hope this works. Good Luck!

Put your disk in, then go to "Uninstall Programs" in Windows. Select to uninstall BF2,and the Wizard will start. It will give you a choice to uninstall,or repair.....select repair and let it do its thing. Then run PB Update. Hopefully that helps.

Hey guys it's Harry, I just got a new computer and I can't log in with my old TPG account this account is under Mr Harry and I would like to log on with my old account.
Second I got a new computer with widows 7 and my BF2 doesn't even start up. The logo comes on and than the screen goes dark and that is all it goers back to my desk top. I would really like to logo on with my old account any ADMIN HELP!!!
