This is the first time I have ever used Steam.
Do we need to delete the beta in steam or will it automatically go away?

the beta will likely go away, but if you really want to, you can delete it.
Right click and 'Delete local content'.

Looks like there is already an update to it. After download had to run as administrator just like the Beta updates and it's updating now. Looking like it might take some time too. I noticed that after the first download off EADM (53 minutes), the BC2 file said only 1.73 g's as file size but on the download manager says 5.4 gb. So now it seems to be downloading the rest. Weird
