    Re: Your highest death-streak

Guys I have always said that I'm not a superstar at gaming. My purple heart the other night was the first in a very long time(I was having a real bad night.) I got most of them before I fond TTP and learned what real team play was. I have been playing on line now for four years and have come a long way since those terrible days.

I believe death streaks are still counted when you are revived. So you could have been revived 3 times, and all 3 of those deaths would count towards a streak. I could imagine my 11 death streak being something like dieing 4 times normally, then trying to blow up the core while being revived by many medics. I just couldn't see myself being in a position where I would let it get to 11 deaths in a row without putting a hole in the wall. In BF2 you can get huge deathstreaks piloting the helo while still having your gunner put up big numbers in a long round, but in BF2142 there aren't too many ways to die 11 times and help your team. I never really had a newbie phase in BF2142, it was like BF2 reskinned for me. Whatever, I should just quit procrastinating my homework and not over analyze a deathstreak in a game I haven't played in a couple of months.

Brink, personally I don't worry about it - and neither, really, should anyone else. Case in point....

We, at TTP, play full map rotations with FF on. This means that we've all spent considerable time in the meat grinder that is Titan Assault (prior to shield loading). This means that you might hit the Titan with 12 kills and 0 deaths, but finish the game with 14 kills and 23 deaths easily if you were up against a good Titan D (Frau comes to mind - shudder) so I am willing to believe that most of the "regs" here have picked up their high/est death streaks either while learning the game (we were all new at some point - even the oldest man on the forums, Meth that's right I am talking about you, you Rico Suave old man you

So don't sweat it. If we were some "tool" server running FF off and infantry only maps with then there might be some real validity to the highest death streak, but as it stands IMO there's nothing to it other than fun forum talk.

    Your Sniping buddy,

    Al

exactly. I don't want to start conversations on the forums about the good stats; nobody wants to see my stats anyway, you get enough of it in-game. I wanna hear about the funny shit that could be put in a failblog. 26 deaths in a row is the most hilarious stat I've heard so far this year, bottom line.

A dubious distinction I'm hoping to be rid of. Come on, step forward people!
