Been away for a while so what do I do, buy the DVD or dowload BC?

By the way, although steam is useful for not losing discs/key codes...the DVD gives you an option of having it authenticate through the disc...or online, requiring no disc.

Launch BC2, login, drag your mouse over the multiplayer tab, then select redeem code.

Now this is going to be a stupid question, why STEAM? Isn't that a Counter Strike plarform? We will have to play BC2 through STEAM

Because Steam is more reliable than EADM.

EADM tried to do a nasty thing a while back by only making your purchases available for 6 months. Those that bought Northern Strike through EADM got hosed when it was no longer available and had to reinstall the game due to system problems. This resulted in many people either paying for NS again or never playing NS again. There was enough of an outcry that EADM changed their stance and made it available again.
