BC2 TTP Server Lag or No lag Poll

Except that I've gotten it on every server I've tried playing (admittedly more TTP than others just cause I am a loyalist

)

But, seriously, I've not had a single one of those much vaunted "good rounds" where the game was smooth anywhere, yet. Which is why I'll not touch it again until at least the first major patch and not one of these little "updates" for server browser caching or other IMO minor issues.

I rarely get good gameplay at TTP. yesterday I must have played on a half dozen servers. I tried TTP early, and left after the round as the banding was extreme. 1 or 2 of the other servers I played on had a bit of banding that last a minute or two and was generally smooth afterwards; where as TTP lagged for around 10 minutes and showed no signs of stopping so i quit after the round ended.

It has gotten to the point that when I start up BC2, I do not expect to be able to play on TTP servers. That makes me sad

And I uninstalled as none of the servers were doin for it and that makes me more sad. As there are lot of 5thies (and other 2142 regs) that I miss playing with. But oh well - I'll wait for some more EA/DICE patches

Same here... Whenever I hop on any of the vent servers to see where everyone is playing, they are either scattered in random servers or on TTP and discussing where they should move to in order to get away from the choppiness. Even if I am able to play fine for a few rounds, someone else in our group will generally be having problems with our servers...

I understand Hypernia states it is a global problem, but I am not seeing that in the least. I don't play the game as much as some, but TTP servers remain the only ones I have seen serious rubber banding issues in.

most often no lag.
I have MAJOR lag when I enter the server as #31 or #32 spot for about a good 2-3mins. Right now, I cannot recall other times when I lag..

Well i will test my latest graphics later tonight when the server is full to see if this also helps my personal system performance.

I have lag all the time on TTP servers. I really don't understand why especially when I join another server, all the rubberbanding stops. When I ask in global chat whether anyone else is lagging or not, at least 5 or 6 responses come up. I hope the issue gets fixed so I can permanently set TTP servers as my go-to server :4
