So far so good. I just went in and played a few games on conquest and all was good. SOOO much better.

Sunday's report - Played a few games in the morning and all was well. logged in the afternoon around 3ish pst and it was horrible again. Tried again at night and it was back to being better but some guys still could not play.

I have had spotty issues with the TTP servers throughout the weekend. Some sessions where great, but other sucked balls, and it sort of came and went.
At one point, I think Sunday afternoon it was real bad on one of the TTP servers so i dropped it and hit 'play now' and ended up on a server hosted in the UK. I had an awful ping, near 200, and couldnt really play, but it was a consistant non-stop lag, not the yo yo stuttering effect I experience on TTP, where it will be fine and then suddenly everything and everyone will start skipping around.

I dropped off that and later in the day, during prime time, I got back onto one of the TTP servers and it was golden, smooth as could be.

I dont know what is going on, but everytime I have had this stuttering at TTP, I log off and jump on another server just to verify that the gameplay is smooth and its not my system or net connection.

Bottom line; for me it seemed like it was much better, but not entirely eliminated.

hm.

allright then...I'm going to set ONE server to run on all 8 cores. And let's see if you can guess which one it is.

Over the weekend, It seemed to do just fine until it hit that magic 32 player count. Before that it was nice and smooth. Once it hit 32 players, I called it over Vent without looking saying "server must be full" because people on the mini map were warping. Might just be coincidence.

Once I got my blue-screen-o-rama cleared up (reload of Win7) I was able to play yesterday for 2 extended play sessions with only one white-screen and one freeze. No lag issues in game.

Game server has been restarted.

3 servers are now 4 core, and 1 is 8 core.

I came back here to play BFBC2 I remember several lags back then and I encounter lag here too. I hope my traceroute can shead some light. I live in Oklahoma City, OK. It seems the hop 5 and 8 have some issues. I did another trace route and hop 6 along with the hope 5 and 8 also had a 10 % packet loss.
