    Me too... Until I played BC2... and upgraded to win 7.

    But yeah, my BF2 ran like a charm on Vista (with the 1.41 patch that fixed the >2Gb RAM crash, and SP1, and the creative patch that fixed another >2Gb RAM bug)

    And also, mrpete, welcome to the forums!

    I would say see you on the battlefield, but I am pretty much only playing BC2 now...

    Same... Running not as admin usually causes a crash to desktop before getting in game, but as admin never had a problem with it. Might want to uninstall and run the INSTALLER as admin as well if that don't work for you.
