Thread: Not enjoying BFBC2

Many of the clans have their own Vent or TS servers, but it still makes it hard to do anything since not everyone is in the same Vent/TS servers.

It is still a great game, just hard to uphold TTP standards when the admin tools are lacking and VoIP is still missing.

But honestly, most of the issues such as lag have been dealt with a lot and the game is a lot more playable now than it was when it launched. Unfortunately many people are still having issues. EA/Dice just really fucked up on preparing this game for launch. Even the console players are having issues.

I just don't think it is as effective. I remember the TFC. Same problem though since most people just use the weapons for offense instead of using their med packs at all or reviving people like they can and should.

I think the bigger heal does matter since it can still heal as you start moving, but it probably won't be too big of a deal though if your squad works well together. Problem is though it is hard to do without VoIP since I seem to get into squads with people I don't know. I don't have as much of an issue when I can get with TTPers.

As for the scope, I guess I never had much of an issue since it is so easy to spot people I just aim towards the target and I can generally snipe people just fine without it.

Dude I sat on TTP last night screaming because I ran out of ammo, ran around support dudes asking for ammo, shooting the pistol around there feet (ala Hiltler) and they just sat there shooting the trees GRRRR I can relate, finally Bob spawned in on me (probably to stop me screaming) and threw an ammo pack down, we continued on, I had to restock on ammo twice (great killing spree) and it was all thanks to that kind hearted supply guy Bob - the other assaults were too busy noob tubing... I love the heavy barrel when on assauly, but I switch quickly to wide spread to help my team stay alive...

And I've noticed that too when I play Engie since it seems like none of the other Engineers know how to take out a tank properly...I've been able to take out a few tanks and use up all my SMG ammo and had no ammo crate to resupply up when there are 15+ assault guys not dropping a damn thing...:3

People need to remember that they have tools to help others out and not just themselves. Although I admit, since I play Recon so little, I sometimes forget to throw out my motion mines to spot enemies. Usually doesn't take too long though before I remember I have them and I start using them.

No Voip is being bypassed by clans, SsT vent was packed last night - we ended up splitting channels Team A Team B, due to too much chatter... When the game is patched it'll be better with voip (hoping Voip gets the patch it needs)...
