BC2 is short for Battlefield Bad Company 2 that has recently been released. Dice has mentioned BF3 and several workers have mentioned/referred to it in interviews. So yes there will most definately be a BF3, but as to when/where/what it will be like/era of game I am not sure anyone can say for certain

oh alright thanks, I dont think theres been a game better then battlefield 1942 or BF2 yet so I will keep playing Bf2 until that happens (probably not til bf3 ?)

Although I do miss functioning VOIP and the size of BF2. The Frostbite engine is simply superior. I cannot imagine playing in a world with indestructible fences ever again.

I'm seconding the fact that BC2 is more fun - Soy and I got 2 rounds of voip the other day and kicked ass

when then fix voip expect bc2 to swallow a ton more BF2 peeps

2142 wins best in series in my opinion, but the others are really solid too. My time with Battlefield Vietnam is limited, but I saw potential in the couple hours I played.

Bad Company 2 is not a Battlefield game beyond the name, at least if you judge that by scale and whatnot. But it's very impressive and, frankly, it's really hard to go back to anything else after seeing Destruction 2.0.

me, no, it looked ok but too like arcade ish with all these explosions...but I never played the PC version. Also only 20 or 30 on multiplayer right ? I like it with 64,alot more craziness, more fun that way.

The maps are smaller, so eventhough there are a lesser amount of players its just as or even more cazy than bf2. The explosions are realistic and destruction 2.0 is awesome!

Frankly to be completely frank Frank the BC2 game is more crazy than BF2 dues to people being able to spawn on any squadmember, yes the maps are smaller but the action is that much more intense... I will always love BF2 but Destruction 2.0 is too difficult to top ...
