I'm just about done with Recon and will need to finish up Assault soon. I started playing Recon more once I got more of the unlocks and the other weapons are actually a great mix with the motion sensor balls and mortar strike/c4 combo.

5th weapon in assault looks silver... or is that plat?

I'm guessing plat. Silver tends to look like it blends more with the background. That one seems to have a hint of gold still in it. I could be wrong though.

Got my last 2 unlocks tonight. Also got all combat pins. Just need 2 more vehicle pins and I'll have all pins.

I noticed though that my Sniper Rifle HS medal/award (the one that says you need 100 Headshots with a Sniper Rifle) isn't tracking. I know I've gotten a decent amount too. Anyone else having problems with it tracking or am I doing something wrong?

damn ya unlock all the kits pretty damn fast. I'm on my 3rd day of playing and only completed recon and almost all of medic.

I didn't have a problem with the 100 Headshot. The issue might be is it a Marksman Headshot which has to be at least 100 meter (could be yard) for it to start counting. For some added information I believe for every meter behind the initial 100 meter is another point so if you killed someone at 150 meters. Then you get +50 for the kill then +50 for the marksman headshot and another +50 for going 50 meter above. +150 points for a shot isn't bad

the cool thing is that the headshot bonus increases based upon how far away you are. You can get up to like 300 points or so for ludicrously long range shots.

Ah. Yeah, I guess that would make sense then. Never paid much attention to it though. Guess I need to learn to snipe at range then so I can try to get that unlock.

Who says we can't do both? We don't have to sacrifice anything. I know I personally still push myself and my squad to get the job done. Hell last night I was working on my assault weapons while still working with my squad as we took down at least 4 m-coms by still working together.

If I snipe, I'll point people out, use my sensor balls, go for plants/defuses. Just makes it more interesting to have a secondary goal. If what I'm using doesn't work out though, I'll be sure to try to switch to something that does as I'm sure others do as well.
