Thread: Swapping teams at round start

I understand that topics have been made about stacked teams before, but please read this before deciding to lock.

This is basically just a reminder of common sense. Usually people disconnect after their team loses, leading to stacked teams and the same team repeatedly winning over and over. Nobody likes that. It hurts the server. So simply check the scoreboard at the beginning of a round, and if it looks stacked, switch teams; it should effectively balance out the problem, prevent further issues of people leaving, and give the server a better look. The point is that rather than realizing that the teams are stacked mid-round and knowing how little fun it is to switch then, just check at the beginning and try to rectify it right away. I have seen this done before, and believe me, it works.

Every online game is more enjoyable when the teams are even. Use your head and solve the problem when it's painless for everyone.

Got done playing earlier tonight in a round on Conquest where my team was getting destroyed. I was leading my team with a 12/17 K/D ratio. So I typed in all-chat that teams were stacked and I could use some help. Teams evened out pretty quick. Unfortunately it was after 2AM so the server went to sleep afterwards. But thanks to everyone who switched to even the teams! Made it much more fun. :9
