Re: Wel wel, luk at dis
Things that destroy validity:
* Using a HC server; the whole point of the exercise is to show that identical shot placement with a different setting produces different and improved results, however the increased damage of HC makes shot placement much less important to damage and so invalidates the idea that the changed setting is producing more accurate (and thus, higher damage) results. The tests should be repeated on a non-HC server to provide consistency and validity to the data.
* Walking shooter / using a shotgun; even at that range, while walking and unscoped the shotguns have a big tendency to put shots all over the place, again making the hypothesis of more accurate shot placement moot. It's entirely possible to miss the target completely at that range, given the factors presented in the video. If the premise of the video, that the hitboxes lag behind the visible models, is true, then it should be equally true if the shooter is stationary. The tests should be repeated with a stationary shooter and a highly accurate weapon, such as a red-dot semi-auto sniper rifle, and a moving target.
