And what of it if the orders change? how many times have you been headed to a silo in 2142 only to have your orders changed. you work the new order ASAP. if your close to setting the mcom ofcourse you Finnish that, if you pinned down you fight it out till you die, respawn and head for the new order. why is BC2 different?
Mcoms in buildings are gonna fall no matter where you defend them from. and saying you need to be out to kill sniper dropping mortars is like saying sitting the enemy base in 2142 killing apcs is helping the squad defend the titan. line of sight, if they can see the building to drop mortars then you can see and shoot them.
you cold make the same argument for mcoms not in destructible buildings. "wull its better to kill them before they get close" pfft whatever. If your not getting bonus points then your too far from the order.
what really sad is when a whole team cant figure out how to drop the first two mcoms on nelson bay. and loose because of fucking complete and utter lack of any organization or teamplay. its sadder then sending baby kittens to the meat grinder. one squad with their shit together can get it done.
now i know the big picture here, you will not always be able to close to the order at all times. setting mines giving ammo etc etc, but keep your zone the primary focus and your squad will see goobbs of points. it will sound like freaking xmas with points bells ringing.

Heh last night some guy was sniping from halfway across the map on Port Valdez, we take the first 2 M-COMs, he doesn't even move to the new spawn point, I spawned on him once, told him he wasn't even near the new spawn point. I was THIS CLOSE to TKing him in the head with the knife.
And the kicker? his K/D sucked by the end of the round, even I had a better K/D with 15 deaths or something like that.
