    I remember reading something on BFBC2 twitter of "due to the usual Tuesday EA maintenance. " And now I remember every tuesday I get kicked at 0100 Eastern. WTF, they take all the servers offline while they do this too? Never happened with BF2 before. What sort of stupid gimmick is this?

    Sounds pretty standard. Maybe not for FPS games as often, but it is required to keep things flowing smoothly.

    Yep... it's fairly standard... of course the maintenance hasn't been without its issues... They had to restart the PC back end servers twice in 2 days.
