Re: Killing the server
As I have said every time I've been through IP changes and everything else. Who wants to join a server with no one in it.
When players search for a server to join, they are looking for one with players on it.
There is only one way to kill the server and that is to not have players on it.
Instead of being in the forums stating opinions or finding reasons people aren't on it. Get on the server and be that person I used to be. The one that every one sought out to play the game with. Be the one to help them learn to enjoy the game. If it's low population, who cares! Complaining will not help a thing.
Y'all want to know what's missing, good squad leaders who make the game enjoyable for everyone else. The ones who know how to have fun no matter what the circumstances are. The ones who welcome players to their squad, get them involved and tell them about the forums.
If y'all truly care about what happens, then y'all need to be properly motivated and educated. You can't expect others to care the way you do, unless you instill in them the same fire & passion you have, to see the server prosper.
Let's forget about what was, pick up our torch and move forward with the best possible attitude and what ever you do, don't lose the faith.
I am not always able to be around, kids are getting older and needing more attention.
This server needs leaders. Leaders are the ones who step up without waiting for others to do it. They are the ones who do what I did for several years. They show their intentions by being on the server attempting to bring it to life. That is how things get done.
Sincerely, passionately PR player

Re: Killing the server
This is exactly why we need to get organized. I really don't care what the causes are for why the server is in the state that it is in. All I care about is getting the server population back up. I honestly do not think that we have enough dedicated players to prime the server every single day. If we spread ourselves out too far or thin, we will get no where. That's why I started the poll on when we should meet weekly on the server and come up with some way to contact everyone and let everyone know that we are playing that day. I will even PM everyone who is interested on that day to organize some kind of effort to get the server rolling. I really miss playing on OUR server with everyone of you guys.
Edit: Go vote right now if you haven't for what day you would like to play on TPG's PR server:

We need dedication, not everyday, but at least just one day a week!Last edited by DaKillerFox; 06-08-10 at 06:13 PM.
