Squad bug reset suggestion.

Scenario:

US is squad bugged and announces it at beginning of round, no reset happens, so they play through the round and even though they are playing with one hand tied behind their back for the entire round still manage to squeak out a win.

Teams switch...

New US side is squad bugged... server gets reset.

If team 1 plays through a squad bug with some hard fought battles and players who know what needs to be done and doing it without the aid of having squads then.... Team 2 should have to do the same. Server can be reset at the very beginning of the next map.

Of course if the squad bug is caught and reset in the very beginning of the first round on a map then that is awesome, job well done!

Since 1.5, the squad bug usually fixes itself by the next round, and so the 1-round playthrough is a courtesy to avoid having to restart the server and drop all the players. It's a bug, and it's treated like a bug by the administration, not as a random "extra challenge" that both teams have to complete.

If it happens to you and your team pulls off the win anyway, consider yourselves lucky and move on. The admins will not be forcing both teams to experience the bug if it does happen.

It should ALWAYS be reset even if people are lost. Who usually comes back? The regulars and teamplayers.

How is it decided when the server is reset for a squad bug? I have seen before where it is announced at the beginning and we play through. I left the sever one time when that happened because it's painful not being in a squad.

The last few times it has happened it never sorts it's self out. The next round yes, but then 2 rounds later it's back. It's best to just get the reset over with.

It is decided to reset it if it hasn't fixed itself after that round. Like draco said, many times the bug will fix itself after that one round. Sometimes it may come back, but other times it won't. Yes, it sucks not being in a squad for one round, but it is better to keep the server fully populated as long as possible.

It made more sense before not resetting it because it happened so damn much. Now with it not happening that much a reset ever now and then isn't bad.

The server is popular enough that it will fill back up. Always has. Might take 20-30 minutes, but replace that time with playing a round with no communication.

In my opinion, I'd also like to see it get reset as soon as it happens. The whole round feels like a giant waste of time and there are enough regulars to come back, especially if a warning message is stated before the reset. I'm more likely to leave and not come back if the server isn't reset.

yeah squadless is painful i like to squad especially with the HRD guys they got the squad sticking togthe and vocie chat down also good to squad with h7 bluemaxx and a couple the sst guys basicly most people who like to use the mic
