I also few right into the dirt on one of the EU maps with Xav flying right behind me. I feared for my jets tail hole and thought death was best.

I have stupid moments where I try to be a pilot against Reject, Soviet, and H7.
But reality takes over and I realize I just like to look good hovering over the carrier... Putting on lipstick...

Granted I had just really started flying in the non single player mode.

Most of you don't know how hard it is to fly in PR...
So you don't know how hard it is to land...
And you don't know how hard it is when they put trees at the start of the runway...

I only fly if the jet is in danger of being stolen or if we are base raping and trying to steal their jet. I can't do the multiple finger coordination thing on the keyboard to keep flying and the throttle up at the same time. Especially when trying to repair/resupply, I just can't get the speed, course, and altitude figured out without crashing into something. I've been trying to practice on single player but it's just not the same.

I'm with you Moo....actually to this day I can't even get the jet off the carrier. The whole hovering thing does not work out as well as the water jumping out at me once I get off that little ramp. lol

I think my record flying time on the server so far was one time we stole the F-18 from the US on Fushe Pass and I managed to fly for about a good 5+ minutes before getting shot down, but I did manage to catch a whole lotta "omg they stole our jet!!!" messages from the enemy

My SL (I think it was (4)manno) had sympathy and basically just told me to keep it airborne as long as possible.
