    Yes. medic/support boxes disable becons. They go red.

    Basically, anything that blocks the beacon from the sky overhead will make it go red. Generally speaking anyway.

    Ive parked on top of one in a Love boat (APC) and it still worked. Gotta love EA.

    Yup - as Raven said - most things (other than Cable's apparently hole-y ACP) will block or shut them down
