Re: BF2142 1.51 OPEN Beta
It sounded like (or read like as the case may be) that Jason Bryce (the guy that developed the new Titan map) was asking for details and confirmation on that bug (and the Verdun one as well. Someone made the comment (I think it might have been someone from Combat Testing) that the UAV bug was supposed to be fixed.
Someone shortly after mentioned that this was just a beta of the patch after all. So, it seems as if they'll look back into that one. I see no reason why the altitude of the UAV can't simply be increased to above whatever the max altitude of the Titan is. Seems like a clear cut solution to me.

The real problem is that Jason Brice (the man behind the new maps) isn't a DICE employee. He's a modder, who is providing the maps to DICE. Anything he fixes, has to be packaged up into a new patch bundle by DICE. DICE only has 1 guy handling all that, and he's got responsibilities with BC2 and elsewhere within DICE. DICE is preparing for the MoH launch in a couple weeks and also has BC2:Vietnam (and ongoing support for BC2, such that it is) that all are getting in the way of getting this patch done. If we see the final release by the end of the year, we'll be very fortunate.
