Thread: BF2142 Northern Strike question

Before i stopped playing BF 2142 about 2 years ago i had bought Northern Strike. Now i'm reinstalling the game to play it again, is there any way i can get northern strike again without paying? and if so then how. I'v completely wiped by computer twice since then and have no previous data from BF2142 still on it.

The problem is that when you buy Northern Strike through the EA Downloader, you can only use the installer for 6 months before the installer is removed, and you have to buy NS again.

Fileplanet offers the Northern Strike files for free, but they will only work if you previously played Northern Strike on YOUR account.

Once installed, make sure it works by trying to join a NS server. If it doesn't immediately kick you, you're all set.

Thanks for the help Allane, i'm also having some issues with my CD key. It keeps saying the CD key is already registered to an account, which should be mine. Seems like it was a semi-common problem so i'm looking into it.
