joystick help

I've been using the logitech 3d pro for about 3 years and its been decent up until about a month ago. nothing to write home about but it works.. the trigger button has gone out and a few other buttons are starting to go.. I'm about to start looking for a new joystick and although the logitech has been decent i think I'll try something different next time.

I use a Saitek x52, but for an arcadey flight model such as Battlefield you are much better off with the keyboard & mouse.

(I only use my joystick for flight simulators, but the x52 is amazing in sims)

I went with the Logitech 3D due to mainly the price, as you probably all know, I'm not much of a aviator. I hope to soon change that, but the x52 looks amazing, but for the limited flying I will do, the cheaper way is the better way.

yea... if you just need it for BF2, then you really don't need the x52.

I rarely use the keyboard....on the ground or in the air. I use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for almost everything. The only time I use the keyboard is when I am driving a land vehicle,otherwise,I am using the joystick.

dex has his joystick in hand, even when he's not playing BF2. IYKWIM.
