BF2 Questions
Hey TPG I just have a few Questions.
In reguards to Ranking sites the only one I use is UBAR are there other ones to use that automatically update or you can sign up for with your USER ID?
Also is there any easy way to get the Engineer/Knife/Pistol Basic Badges? I have been trying for such a dang long time and I can't seem to get any of them?
Reguarding Squad Leader and Commander Command Keys == Is there a list of all command keys such as Squad 1 Attack Here and Squad 2 Defend here etc and same alist of commands for Squads? Attack Here, Defend here etc.
I always Play on the TPG 24/7 Server for BF2 so if you happened to see me on, Please feel free to contact me on invite me to a squad I always Use my Mic and constantly use it to converse about the on going mission, its habit after doing 6 and a half active and doing 2 tours. Im not the greatest at the game but that comes with time played LOL. Im usually on Friday and Saturday Nights Late and Occasionally during the week late night ESTLast edited by DrewFellenbaum; 11-08-10 at 06:56 PM.

Re: BF2 Questions
BF2Stats.net - Battlefield 2 Stats is the other major bf2 stat site that I am aware of/refer to.
unfortunately not...just perseverance. the more close quarters/infantry based maps such as sharqi and karkand are typically best for obtaining knife/pistol badges. and for engineer, just dedicating yourself to repair assets and vehicles a whole map (the veteran repair is a biatch to get, and the expert is practically impossible w/o cheating in some manner, imo)
not sure i follow your question regarding commands. if youre asking if there are key bindings/shortcuts, i dont think there are. the best way i know of issuing orders is simply selecting the relevant squad and right-clicking on the minimap (capslock = default) and selecting the order you want to issue. same process for issuing orders as a squad leader (minus the selecting the specific squad), but you can also use the squad command commo-rose (default = T) to issue quick, heads-up/on-the-run orders.

Re: BF2 Questions
Ok so as Command you can Click a Squad and then click a Flag/Area to attack/moveto/defend etc? I guess I have not exactly understood or really had the chance of doing these yet. I would use the T Command Attack and Point with an area with the Mouse but it would be off but a couple hundred meters at times and that makes me look bad when Im trying lol. but thanks anyother hints tips or tricks for squad leader or commander be awesome.

Re: BF2 Questions
yeah, when you command hit the capslock key to bring up the mini-map, and from there you can click on the squad you want to issue an order to and then right-click on the map and select which order you want to issue. same applies to squad leading, except you only issue orders to just your squad. ideally when you command, you will be in the mini-map mode the whole time where you have an overview of the whole battlefield, and can zoom in to birds-eye view if needed (mousewheel). you can also call assets from the mini-map as well (arty, supplies, vehicle), and if a squad leader makes an asset request, you can just click on the requested icon and "accept/deny".

Re: BF2 Questions
Hi DrewFellenbaum, Welcome to TPG!!!
Starting a single player game will give you the opportunity to test out the different Commander functions so you can familiarize yourself, plus the bots will ignore you just like on the server.Last edited by Gunny; 11-09-10 at 02:52 PM.

Operation Iron Thunder:
Maashtuurrr Or Songhua are the best Repair maps. Hop up in a Fatty Chopper and grab a non-gunner seat. And WRENCH the Shit out of it.
2 Engineers can Keep a Chopper up. 3-4 engineers make it nearly invincible.
Don't forget Mines, they are easily the Easiest way to obtain Repair points. Often Unguarded and when you disable one you get to keep it.
Great for Fooling the other team. I love to disable mines left by the other team, and replace them with Our teams, Then when Gmg sees that they are in the same place he doesn't think twice about driving over it.
