Thread: Whats wrong with BF2142, or is it just me?

So after months without playing I reinstalled it and got all ready to play just to find that when I go to the multiplayer section 'in-game' there are NO servers displayed. Then I try to get on to the official ea BF2142 site and all it says is 'service unavailable' and thats from both home pc's and at work. So, did BF2142 fall of the face of the planet or is something just going on? This has been going on for a couple days now, by the way.

See thats the thing, it was a fresh install and I knew I needed it but when I went to get the update and install the game/installer said that I had the most recent version(or something to that nature). I'll just do the whole thing over again, thanks again!

Yeah I believe spanky is correct you need to make sure you download the 1.5 patch and install it

That link did the trick! Don't know what I was doing but the file I was trying to update with wasn't working. On a similar note I am getting the pnkbstrB.exe initializing failure thing a little but only enough to be a nuisance. And it has been kind of slow on the server, I remember there were nights where I couldn't even get on cause it was maxed out with people but like the other night it kind of just fizzled out, and early too, like 11:00. Oh well, its still fun to me!!! Hope to see y'all out there.
