Thread: The origin of "Gary"

So i get this question all the time while playing PR... "Why do we call the bomb truck "Gary"?"

Well, i couldnt say... i just heard people start calling it Gary and the name stuck with me. Well, i was searching for some images of gary to compare to Larios find in Iowa and came across the origin of the name. Here is the thread that started it and the person that coined the name "Gary" for the dump truck from hell.

Huh I always figured it was called a Gary cause some guy named Gary was overly fond of the bomb truck, like you would call a sniper a "David".

Next time you find one, check the plates. Reads "GARY"

Just checked your link shows it there. But yea when they took out big red and put in stinky, the plates read Gary. I miss big red though, no sight compairs to the one of that 500 pound bomb dragging behind a semi.

Yes, with the most recent game the plate does indeed say GARY, but that was not always the case. Prior to earning the name it was refered to as the OMG truck.

ok so lets see here
if a sniper = a "David"
then
a Gery = a "David"
a Big Red = a "David"
a Bomb car = a "David"
a Motorcycle = a "David"

So if all of this is right then why isnt the game just called "David's Game"?
