Thread: ADMINS WUT???!

The last three nights/days I've been on I've seen blatant hacks on server and no admins to clean them up. I gave up my admin post because I knew I wasn't able to put in enough time to be on when I was needed.

Right now, the admins are not on when they're needed. We should have a spread such that when the server is live, we've at least got a decent chance of having an admin on board. This is fucking ridiculous. If you're an admin and you aren't playing, RESIGN. If you're a regular and NOT an admin, STEP UP.

No one wants these wasted little cunts on our server.

Hmmm, why haven't you reported these blatant hackers in the http://www.teamplayergaming.com/batt...m-players.html thread? Screenshots and videos go a long way.

And it sounds like you are on when you're needed.

There's been plenty of admins on and all have been doing their jobs. I can assure you that the ban list grows on a daily basis. You if anyone should know that this is NOT the proper way to go about things. Give us names, give us times, give us screenshots. We have procedures for ANYONE to report problem players. Instead of bitching after the fact, be part of the solution and not contribute to the perceived problem.

Use steam, from my time being a css reg w/o being an admin simply messaging someone and letting them know, with in minutes friendly neighborhood admin logs on banns banns banns says have a nice day let me know if something is up before someone logs on to play and goes back to reading the forums. (or what ever they were doing when I bothered them) It's not the ideal fix granted but it works and I always thought being a second set of eyes for the admins was kind of a job for me being a reg.

What times do you need an admin?


On a side not, I thought, Last titme I inquired (TTP) Was only inviting Admins, There was never an "application".
If Your good, And don't reference bad things in your name, TPG will find you.

I have seen a few aimbot hackers too.

Just because someones score is good doesn't make them a "blatant hacker".

Some of us, myself included, have been doing this a long time. Just because someone has good aim and performs well DOES NOT make them a hacker.

I know of one admin, for example. In CoD4 we actually banned him for a while because we thought he was scroll wheeling (using the scroll wheel to get unfair fire rates with single fire weapons) and he sent us a video PROVING he did not and really could click the mouse that fast. Now he is an admin here, and a well respected one at that.

Don't just start these whiny threads thinking "oh, if they feel the pressure they will be more likely to ban these "hackers" in a haste". We. Will. Not. Haste leads to mistakes, and leads to us losing player base because "oh, they will ban you for being good, don't play there."

There have been plenty of admins on. I know there have. I bet you couldn't even name half our admins. And that is including your free-bee, the moderator list of this forum.



We want solid proof. You have the ability, you have the tools, and we even GIVE you the proper channels here at TPG to report these "hackers".

USE THEM.

Lately, because of my INTERNET, I have not been able to play at peek times but either Early or real late on the server. I have never had a problem getting a admin. So what time are we talking about. Spot the fuck on.

There are always admins on.....always. If you are going to step in here, and lay down accusations about our admins, you better bring some semblance of evidence. Names, times, screenshots....how about a personal account.....none of which you have provided. Coming in and bitching about a perceived problem, without even telling us what the problem is, or who is causing it, will get just as many results.....nil, zip, and/or nada. You have been around long enough to know the way we do things around here. Making an absurd post like this makes it look like we are turning a blind eye, or that we don't care......and I think we all know that isn't true....and is an insult to the admins who ARE working their asses off to keep us SUKKA FREE.
