Re: Battlefield Not recession proof....
I'm more worried about the game being imbalanced than about how well I can run it. I didn't think it would be long before games started forgetting Windows XP, anyway--And it's not like you can't change your OS without upgrading every other major component of your PC.

I heard that you need a dual quad core setup with quad 5870 GPU setup with a MINIMUM of 32 GB of Ram.... And that it must have at least 6 TB of available data on your HDD for a page file. Oh and it needs you to own a shiny gold joystick with Xavs Donkey Cookies rule engraved on it....
Seriously I think a high end game like BF3 should be a beast, it'll give it sticking power... imagine that a game that will be played for years!

oh lawdy, open up a savings account and put like 100$ in a month and after a while you'll have enough money to buy a computer.

Re: Battlefield Not recession proof....
I have two... and neither of them involve food. Just have to be persistent.
But crying over lack of xp support is ridiculous. It was a great os in its day. win 7 is here and works great. I game on vista and have only 1 issue and that is that I cant play bf2, no big deal as I am not a big bf2 player. Time to shift funds to the pc budget, lots of new games I want, and upgrades!
