Heavy Metal Map

Do we have this map on rotation and its just that I have not played it?

Today while hitting up random servers I stumbled upon this awesome bf2 size map. I decided to take some video to show you the size of it.

oh and took out some choppers as well

And most everyone hates the hell out of it...

Too big, really. Thats the major problem with it. (Hope I am talking about the huge map with two helicopters and the hills... always have trouble with map names)

Jason, that map came out in the last patch... You've not played much on our server since we brought back BC2, but yes, it's in the rotation.

I really don't like this map personally... Probably seems funny given how much of a chopper/snipe whore I am, but I honestly loathe the map. Whoever controls B gains an insane advantage because of the uncontestable air control, and enemy choppers running rampant rips apart any sort of tank push, sneaking around, sniping, everything, when the pair are at least a sliver over mediocre.

i dont love it but i dont hate it and as far as b it changes teams quite often unless your up against a real organized team i'd say

It's too flat and doesn't have enough flags for it's size, I find most of the size is useless as you usually end up in B anyway which would be fixed with more flags, it doesn't have enough transport for everyone so like half the team has to walk, and it's mostly flat so you can't really use cover to advance on B. It wouldn't be so bad if it had some more flags but it doesn't. It's the tank map though.

The key to the lack of transport is to coordinate with your squad (and team) who is going to spawn in, and the rest can hold their spawn until the destination is reached. If you get multiple squads in a single jeep, you can then squad bomb whatever flag you get to... Good plan is to load up the jeep with multiple squads. Drop one squad at C... Keep going to B. Let the squad dropped at C cap and take the jeep & tank there.
